My Campaign Priorities
Cost of living
The Conservatives have crashed the economy, leaving families unable to pay their bills. Only Labour have a plan for careful investment to bring prosperity back to our communities and end the cost of living crisis.
The environment
We need urgent action to face the existential threat from climate change and create vibrant, greener communities. Labour is committed to removing fossil fuels from our energy system by 2030. I will be supporting biodiversity and clean water in our lakes.
Housing
We live in a beautiful part of the world, but owning a home here is getting further out of reach. I want to see more affordable homes prioritised for families who live and work in our area.
Health
Living in a rural community shouldn’t mean sacrificing access to top quality healthcare when we need it. I’ll fight for local services and securing the investments we need in our NHS.
